1. FENNEL

Fennel is an aromatic herb used from ancient time. The bulbs are rich source of copper, iron, potassium, phosphorus, folate, vitamin A and C. It contain high concentration of aromatic essential oils that has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. Fennel seeds and roots are consider as a best home remedy for bad breath.

How to consume:

  1. Fennel seeds: Chew one teaspoon of fennel seeds daily to avoid bad breath.
  2. Herbal tea: Prepare a tea by using two cups of water and one tablespoon of fennel seeds. Boil this mixture until it remains one cup. Drink this mixture.
  3. Fennel seeds powder: You can use one table of powdered fennel seeds to your diet.

2. CLOVES

Cloves contain aromatic compounds like kaempferol and Eugenol that removes bad breath. It has antioxidant, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties.

How to consume:

  1. Cloves tea: Prepare a tea taking two teaspoon of cloves in two cups of water. Boil this mixture for 15mins. Strain the mixture. Drink this one cup thrice a day.
  2. Chew cloves: You can chew half teaspoon of cloves, whenever you felt bad breath.
  3. Cloves powder: Powder form of cloves can be consumed daily.
  4. After brushing rinse your mouth with clove water. Soak clove overnight in a glass of water.

How to consume:

  1. Green tea: Consume a cup of green tea daily.
  2. Mouthwash: Use green tea as a mouth wash to get rid of bad odor.

The presence of cinnamic aldehyde in cinnamon helps to remove bad breath. Cinnamon antimicrobial property prevent the growth of bacteria that causes bad odor. It act as a natural freshener.

How to consume:

  1. Cinnamon sticks: You can chew some sticks of cinnamon to avoid bad breath.
  2. Mouthwash: Boil few cinnamon sticks in a glass of water for 10mins. Strain it down and use the water as a mouthwash.

  1. Baking soda and salt: Take a glass of lukewarm water. Add one teaspoon of salt and baking soda. Mix it well and rinse your mouth with this mixture.
  2. Apple cider vinegar and baking soda: Prepare a mixture by adding one teaspoon each of apple cider vinegar and baking soda in a glass of water. Use this mouthwash daily for bad breath.
  3. Mouthwash: In a cup of lukewarm water add ½ tablespoon cinnamon powder, one teaspoon of baking soda and juice of lemons. Shake this mixture well and use it as a mouthwash.
  4. Peppermint oil and baking soda: To a glass of lukewarm water add five grams of baking soda and three drops of peppermint oil. Rinse your mouth with this mixture. Repeat this process daily.

6. FENUGREEK

Fenugreek

It is the most effective home remedy for bad breath. This remedy can be used on regular basis for bad breath.

How to consume:

  1. Fenugreek seeds: Prepare a tea by boiling one teaspoon of fenugreek seeds in two cups of water for fifteen minutes. Strain this mixture and consume it daily for bad breath.
  2. Fenugreek tea: Boil a cup of water by adding one tablespoon of fenugreek seeds, five basil leaves and one tablespoon of lime juice. Strain this mixture and drink this tea two to three times a day.
  3. Mouthwash: Prepare a mouthwash by adding two tablespoon of fenugreek seeds in a glass of water. Boil this mixture and strain the water. Gargle your mouth with this mixture to remove bad breath.

7. APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

  1. Apple cider vinegar and vinegar: Take one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and one vinegar in a glass of water. Gargle with this mixture to get rid of bad breath.
