1. Eggs

Eggs contain lecithin, which keeps the hair thicker and scalp in good state. It contains various vitamins like A, B, D and E. The presence of vitamin A helps to promote hair growth and minimizes hair loss. Niacin or vitamin B3 helps to cure thin hair. Biotin and vitamin B7 prevents hair loss and brittle dry hair. It is also rich in minerals like sulphur, selenium, zinc, iron, copper, etc that makes the hair thicker. Eggs can be used in various ways to get thicker hair like hair masks, hair packs and hair conditioners.

Directions for use:

  1. Egg and yoghurt hair mask: Make a hair mask by taking one egg and break it into a bowl. Then add two spoons of yoghurt and add two teaspoons of honey to it. Apply this pack for sixty minutes. After that rinse the hair with cold water.
  2. Onion and egg pack: Onion juice is rich in sulphur that cure thinning of hair. Take an egg break it into a bowl. Get a pulp of onion and mix it with oil. Apply this mixture on the hair and scalp. Leave this for an hour and wash off with cold water.
  3. Lemon juice and egg mask: Take an egg break it into bowl. Add three teaspoonful of lemon juice in the egg. Mix the mixture well. Apply and rub on the scalp and hair. Wash after two hours with cold water.
  4. Olive oil and egg mask: Break an egg into a bowl add three teaspoon of olive oil and mix it. Apply this paste to the hair and scalp. Wash after one hour with cold water.
  5. Eggs for deep conditioning: Take one egg break it into a bowl. Beat it and apply this egg for three hours. Wash this pack with cold water.

Amla is a rich source of antioxidants. It contains an abundance of tannins, vitamin C, flavonoids, gallic acid and kaempferol etc that help in thickening of hair.

Directions for use:

  1. Apply amla oil to the scalp as it boosts blood circulation and increases hair growth.
  2. Take half cup of amla powder, add warm water to it. Apply this paste for 10-15mins after that wash the hair. Use this procedure once every two weeks.

3. Castor Oil

Castor oil contains high content of ricinoleic acid that improves blood circulation and increases growth of hair follicle. It is rich in antioxidants that support the keratin in the hair that make hair smoother, stronger and thicker.

Directions for use:

  1. Mix two teaspoon of (castor oil, almond oil, coconut oil, olive oil), add two to three drops of lavender oil and one tablespoon of aloe vera juice. All these ingredients should be mixed properly. Massage with this mixture. Apply it for one hour after that wash your hair.
  2. Make a mixture by adding one-fourth of olive oil and half of castor oil. Massage your scalp with this preparation. Apply it for one hour after that rinse your hair with water.
  3. Mix castor oil and coconut oil in equal quantity. Massage your hair with this mixture. Cover your hair with warm towel in order to make the oil. Leave on your hair for about an hour. Do it every day.

4. Avocado

The avocado fruit is rich in monounsaturated fats, vitamins, proteins, potassium and other minerals that promote thickening of hair.

Directions for use:

  1. Use avocado oil for hair thickening by massaging your hair with it.
  2. Take one tablespoon of avocado oil, one tablespoon of olive oil, half tablespoon of honey and one egg white part. Mix all the ingredients and apply this mixture on the hair. Apply this mask for one hour after that clean hair with mild shampoo.
  3. Prepare a mask by adding mashed avocado, olive oil and a banana. Mix all these ingredients well. Massage your scalp for a few minutes. Leave it for about half an hour. Rinse it off by washing with mild shampoo.

  1. Use one tablespoon of aloe vera gel/juice and one tablespoon of olive oil. Mix it well and apply on the hair. Let it for an hour after that wash it with mild shampoo.
  2. Make a mask by adding one cup of fresh aloe vera gel, two tablespoons of castor oil, two tablespoons of fenugreek powder. Apply this mixture on the hair and cover it with a shower cap. Keep it overnight and wash in the morning with shampoo.
  3. Prepare a mask by adding five tablespoons of aloe vera gel, three tablespoon of coconut oil and two tablespoons of honey. Mix these ingredients. Apply it on the hair for twenty five minutes. Wash your hair with shampoo. Use this mask once a week.

6. Olive Oil

Directions for use:

  1. Heat up olive oil for few seconds after that massage your scalp with this oil. Wrap your hair with the damp towel or shower cap for two hours. Wash your hair with shampoo. Apply this once a day for a week.
  2. Make a hair mask by adding half of mashed avocado, one teaspoon of olive oil. Wrap your hair with the towel or shower cap. After thirty minutes, wash your hair normally with a small amount of water.
  3. Separate the egg white add one tablespoon of olive oil and honey into it. Apply this mixture all over the hair for 20-30 minutes. Rinse your hair with shampoo and water. Repeat this procedure for at least once in two weeks.
