Introduction

Psoriasis is a chronic type of skin disorder in which skin becomes rough, dry, itchy and scaly, dry patches appear on the skin. It is also related to the immune system in which immunity is disturbed that is another cause of infectious disorders.

Causes of Psoriasis

The proper causes of psoriasis are not known but the disorder is related to the immune system. The T cells are present in our body. Normally T cells are moving in the body and fight against the foreign particle like bacteria and other microorganisms. T cell defends the body from outer harmful particles. But in the case of Psoriasis, the T cells start attacking useful cells present in our body by mistake. The hyperactive T cell starts stimulating the production of healthy cells and white blood cells also.

Factors that create a sudden reaction of Psoriasis: 

  • Smoking is one of the common cause that is responsible for various disorders.
  • Any mental stress or depression for longer time
  • Any infectious issues like throat or skin infection due to streptococcus microorganism

  1. Nail Psoriasis: the affected area is nails of toes and fingers. Pitting are present on the nails and growing abnormally. Nails start losing and separate from the roots.
  2. Plaque Psoriasis: it is the most common cause of psoriasis. Skin becomes dry red, reddish, covered with the scale of silver colour.
  3. Guttate Psoriasis: this type of psoriasis mostly present in adults and children. It occurs due to bacterial infection mostly. Small, water-drop shaped, scales are present, and lesions are present on the trunk normally.
  4. Inverse Psoriasis: The most affected areas are armpits, around the breast and near about genital organs. Inflamed, red patches are present and cause disturbance more during sweating and friction.
  5. Pustular Psoriasis: It is present rarely. Mostly patches are present on the fingertips, hands, feet. Pus is present
  6. Erythrodermic Psoriasis: It is also not common, is rarely present and is an inflammatory form that causes rashes on the entire body surface.
  7. Psoriatic Arthritis: Skin becomes inflamed scaly, it causes swelling, pains and cramps in the joints.

Home Remedies For Psoriasis

  1. Take a healthy diet; add nutritional diet in your daily routine such as vitamin D, milk, dairy products, aloe vera, and grapes are some food supplements.
  2. Prevent your skin from drying. Use a herbal moisturizer, try to keep your skin humidifier
