Can Pyloric Stenosis Managed Naturally? – Alternative Treatment

Abstract

The stomach is the muscular organ found in the upper abdomen on the left side of our body. It contains enzymes and HCl (Hydrochloric acid) which helps in the breakdown of the substances after the second phase of digestion. The stomach also contains gastric juice called pepsin which helps the protein to break down into polypeptides. The stomach is then connected to the pylorus the food from the stomach is passed through the pylorus into the duodenum. Pylorus facilitates the movement of food from one part to another. When the Pylorus is affected it leads to difficulty in moving the substance and one of the rare diseases which are included in this condition is called Pyloric stenosis. Pyloric stenosis is a very rare disease that is seen in infants only between the ages of birth to 6 months. This disorder is only seen in infants and in most cases, surgery is needed. The thing that happens is that the lower part of the stomach which is connected to the small intestine is known as the pylorus. In pyloric stenosis, the muscle of the stomach starts to swell resulting in plugging of the food between the stomach and intestine. It makes it difficult for the child to swallow any kind of food.
