Sometimes rumination syndrome can also be linked to rectal evacuation disorder where poor coordination of pelvic floor muscles may result in chronic constipation.

This condition is well known for occurring in infants but this condition is not related to age. Rumination syndrome is also seen in people who suffer from depression, anxiety, or other psychiatric disorders.

5. Mahashankh Vati
