Fibromyalgia is a condition that has several root causes and symptoms but the most commonly occurring symptoms are muscle pain, poor sleep, fatigue, disturbed mood, etc. It is characterized under central sensitization syndrome. Fibromyalgia is a chronic illness of idiopathic illness. Idiopathic means whose cause is not known. Instead, many risk factors are estimated to be- Rheumatoid arthritis, stressful or traumatic events in life, etc. Family history and obesity also makes the person prone to this sickness. Women are two times more prone to fibromyalgia. The women are more prone to fibromyalgia because of higher levels of anxiety, higher levels of depression, etc. The altered response to pain also makes women more prone to fibromyalgia. The symptoms of fibromyalgia will vary from patient to patient. The most common presenting features will be pain and stiffness all over the body. The diagnosis is made by observing the clinical features and then advising necessary laboratory investigations. There is no specific test known to diagnose fibromyalgia. There is no specific treatment known for the condition of fibromyalgia. Various therapeutic measures are combined to give relief to the patient. Joint Aid Plus capsule are prepared by combining various natural herbs such as Nirgundi (Vitex negundo), Shallaki (Boswellia serrata), Guggul (Commiphora mukul), Sonth (Zingiber officinale), Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), etc. These herbs help in balancing the levels of vata in the body. Dose: 1-2 Capsules two times a day, with plain water, after meals.

2. Aamvatantak Churna

This churna contains powdered form of various medicinal herbs such as Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), Methi (Fenugreek), Suranjaan (Colchicum autumnale), Gorakhmundi (Sphaeranthus indicus), Haridra (Curcuma longa), Sonth (Zingiber officinale), etc. The combinations of these drugs help to improve digestion and balance the vata dosha of the body.
