What Is Buerger’s Disease?

Buerger’s disease is a rare condition that occurs in the arteries and veins of the arms and legs/hands and feet. The inflammation and swelling of blood vessels take place. The vessels also get blocked due to blood clotting.

The specific cause of Buerger’s disease is not known. The risk of developing this disease is the use of smoking and tobacco.
