How to Do Tai Chi Walking??

Look straight, Look forward and keep your head high on your shoulders. Keep your feet together and distribute the weight evenly on both the feet. Alternatively shift your weight forward and backward in heels, Do it for a few times.

  • Keep your knees soft and do not lock out.
  • Bent your knees slightly and the center of gravity low.
  • Cautiously moving one foot off the floor peeling the sole of foot.
  • With that leg raised, take the step forward and place the other heel down slowly in front of you (Un weighted).
  • Now roll the rest of the foot on the ground, that too slowly (weighted).
  • Repeat it several times.

NOTE– Don’t look at your feet and look straight, it will help you in maintaining your balance. Keep your arms relaxed and breathe slowly. Some people do it barefoot but you should wear relaxing and comfortable foot wears for better gripping.
